Can you believe it’s been a year since we started this website? Whew! The response to ThereIsLifeAfterBreastCancer.com has been spectacular and overwhelming!!!

We have 3 new contributions: a video from best-selling author Kelly Corrigan, Blinda Hritz talks about her mom and her “nothing too small” attitude, and our very own Margerie McNeill Manning shares another fabulous drawing about her experience at the ballet. Research Opportunity for Adolescents and Young Adults

Research Opportunity for Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer

The National Cancer Institute, in partnership with LIVESTRONG, is recruiting adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer to participate in a research study that tests a survey questionnaire about cancer and healthcare experiences. Individuals will be compensated $50 for participating.
We are looking for participants who:
• Are between 15 and 39 years old
• Were diagnosed with cancer within the past three years
• Can participate in a one-and-a-half-hour interview in Bethesda, Maryland

Interviews will be held in Bethesda, Maryland. If you live outside the area, the interview will be conducted over the telephone.
